Holsten's Ice Cream, Chocolate & Restaurant in Bloomfield is selling the exact booth Tony Soprano and his family sat in the final scene of the iconic TV show as tension built, onion rings were eaten, "Don't Stop Believing" was playing and the screen inexplicably cut to black.
The restaurant said on Instagram the booths are structurally not safe, having been repaired many times over 60 years.
"The time has come," the restaurant wrote. "All good things sometimes need an upgrade. Please understand we don't want to to this. We need to think about the safety of our patrons first."
As of Thursday, Feb. 29, bidding for the booth is up to $5,700. The auction ends on Monday, March 4 and bidders must pick up the booth in person.
"Sopranos" fans were in disbelief Holsten would be selling the booth.
"Don’t do it," one commenter wrote. "Please it would devastate everyone."
"Idk about this," another commenter wrote. "Maybe partition it off as is from everything else. That booth is the draw."
